The maiden edition of the Round2 Virtual Rally that was kicked started on Sunday, 13 September 2020 yielded significant results amidst the Covid19 restrictions. In all, the speakers for the event made delightful speeches that touched on all sectors of the economy.
Amongst them was the submission by Veteran Foot soldier, Mr Yoofi Grant, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC), whose core mandate is to co-ordinate, monitor all investment activities, and assist with the domestic and foreign investors. The Veteran Foot soldier in his remark urged the youth to vote for H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for a second term.
He established in his submission that the youth play a significant role in nation building. He said, “For instance, we have seen a huge transformation in the Agriculture sector under the Planting for Food and Jobs Program (PFFJ). Planting for Food and Jobs has brought about massive food supply to support the economy. This is worth sharing to encourage the youth to vote for good leadership with a vision. A leader who will not just give hope to the young people, but that will also ignite in them the drive to be self-dependent”.
